A long term contributor to the open source community, Moritz decided to make his passion his profession and started working for Ettus Research, where he builds open source software defined radios. In his capacity as lead engineer for the USRP embedded series he works towards an upstream first workflow that allows him to regularly contribute to a number of open source projects that NI / Ettus Research relies on to build these products such as the Linux Kernel (where he is one of the Maintainers for the FPGA Manager Framework), U-Boot, OE, GNU Radio and others.
