My name is Nick Vidal and I'm the author of ISS/IM (Instant Syndicating Standards), an open set of standards that empowers individuals to discover and syndicate information through the help of their own social network. I won a grant from the Knight Foundation to build an ISS/IM prototype on top of Drupal. I'm a Drupal community leader and I was the main organizer of DrupalCamp Brazil 2011, which was co-hosted with Latinoware, one of the top FOSS events in Latin America with over 4000 participants. At this event, we had the honor to receive Dries Buytaert, the founder of Drupal, and Rasmus Lerdorf, the founder of PHP. I'm part of the World Wide Web Conference 2013 Outreach Committee. I'm also the founder of the Libre Magazine, whose first edition had 8000 copies freely distributed. I'm very passionate about Web technologies and Open Standards.
