Armin Pournaki is a PhD candidate at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences (Leipzig) and the Laboratoire LATTICE (ENS-PSL, Paris). He is working on computational approaches to discourse analysis by combining network science and natural language processing to shed light on the relation between interactions on social media and the alignment of arguments and opinions. In the context of his research, he built the twitter-explorer, a tool for users without programming skills to collect and explore Twitter data through interactive network visualizations.
